- 50mm foil backed Alkaline Earth Silicate (AES) wool is encased in a Silicon fire retardant cloth and seam stitched with Kevlar thread. The insulation jackets are provided with top and bottom tie offs made from Nomex fire retardant chord with a Velcro adhesive seam for complete seal against the pipe work
- Applications include Boiler Room hot pipe work LTHW, MTHW and Steam, AHU, Calorifier Manifolds, Heat Exchangers, Air & Dirt Separators.

- Jacket measurements are taken from exposed pipe-work valves, flanges, gate valves, NRVs, Butterfly Valves, Screw Valves, Inspection Hatches, Control Valves and Flanges. The measures ensure a tailored fit to the pipe and include the length of the exposed pipe, circumference, gap (for aperature/screw/protrusion) and gap width. The jackets are overlapped onto adjacent cladded pipework or straight insulated pipework to ensure that no cold spots exist.
